Requesting an appointment
You can request a routine appointment in either of the following ways:
- Submit an eConsult through this website anytime between 8:00am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Call our reception team on (01489 576708) between 8:00am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, if you’re unable to complete an eConsult yourself. A Care Navigator will complete the eConsult with you over the phone, we’ll ask briefly about your concern so we can direct you to the most appropriate healthcare professional.
Once your request is received, it will be reviewed by a doctor and triaged appropriately to ensure you get the right care. Please note, our eConsult service is intended for non-urgent medical matters or administrative queries only.
Same-Day Urgent Triage Appointments
If you need urgent medical advice on the same day, our urgent triage service is available from 8:00am, Monday to Friday.
When you contact us, our Care Navigators will ask for a brief description of your concern so they can pass this information to our Urgent Care Team. A member of the on-call team will then review your request, and you will receive a callback from the duty doctor, who will provide advice or arrange an appointment if needed.

Cancel or Change an Appointment
If you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
Missing an appointment can prevent someone else from getting care. By letting us know if you can’t come, you’re helping us make the most of NHS resources.

If you need medical help outside our opening hours, you can use the following services:
Late arrivals
Patients are expected to attend pre-booked appointments on time and allow for travel or other logistical considerations.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled to ensure other patients are seen promptly. If your situation is clinically urgent, we will do our best to accommodate you later in the surgery.
The practice monitors and records late arrivals to help manage appointment schedules effectively.

Home Visits
Home visits are for patients too seriously ill to attend the surgery. Please contact the surgery before 10.00am, where you will be added to the Triage list for a GP assessment. A member of our home visiting team will visit.
